Due to expansion, our client, one of the UK's leading vehicle collection and delivery companies, is seeking experienced professional drivers to join their team. The role involves operating a range of vehicles, including 7.2-ton twin-deck sleeper cab car transporters towing a 3.5-ton single car trailer, pick-ups with trailers, and 3.5-ton single car carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely collect, deliver, and appraise new and used vehicles across the UK, primarily to end users and for home deliveries, using MoDel and an in-house appraisal app.
- Conduct accurate vehicle appraisals before loading and obtain customer signatures upon collection/delivery.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards.
- Use company-provided mobile devices for electronic vehicle inspections and photos.
Requirements
- A valid Class 1 or C1E licence (without a 107 restriction) to tow a 3.5-ton car trailer behind the 7.2-ton truck.
- A digital tachograph card and current Driver CPC qualification.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with multiple electronic devices.
- Flexibility for nights away (2-3 per week on average) and occasional weekend work.
- A smart, punctual, and reliable demeanor with a self-motivated, can-do attitude.
Working Schedule
Monday to Friday, with nights out and occasional weekend work as required.
