Commercial Recruitment are proud to be working with a successful local company to recruit an experienced HR & People Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation in a key leadership position, reporting directly to the CEO and shaping the people strategy.
As HR & People Manager, you will support around 95 employees across the UK and South Africa. The role is both hands-on and strategic, covering HR compliance, training, recruitment, and culture, while building scalable frameworks to support business expansion and acquisitions. Based full-time in Peterborough, you will also travel regularly to the company\'s sites in Huntingdon and Lichfield.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, influencing business growth through people.
- Design and implement onboarding, training, and performance review processes.
- Lead recruitment campaigns, building talent pipelines and improving retention.
- Manage employee relations including disciplinaries, grievances, and absence.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, GDPR, TUPE, and health & safety.
- Deliver engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion initiatives to strengthen culture.
- Provide workforce planning insights and lead HR integration during acquisitions.
About You
- CIPD Level 5 (minimum), Level 7 desirable.
- At least 3 years\' HR management experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and hold managers accountable.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to travel to Huntingdon and Lichfield when required.
- Comfortable working full-time in the office (no hybrid).
