Salary: £32,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota, paid overtime)

Commercial Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a vehicle logistics company based in Hixon for a Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy vehicle storage and logistics site. This is a hands-on role managing a small on-site team and ensuring the smooth running of the facility, vehicle movements, and general site operations. The site handles approximately 20-30 vehicle movements per day and typically stores around 400 vehicles on site. Part of the site is also rented to another business, so maintaining a positive working relationship with the tenant will be an important part of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the site to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Supervise and support a team of 3 on-site staff
  • Coordinate vehicle movements on and off site (20-30 vehicles per day)
  • Ensure vehicles are safely organised and stored across the site
  • Maintain the overall condition, organisation, and safety of the facility
  • Arrange and oversee general site maintenance and repairs where required
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the company renting part of the site
  • Ensure health and safety compliance
