Due to ongoing expansion, Commercial Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading single vehicle collection and delivery companies. We are seeking experienced, professional drivers to operate 7.2-ton car transporters with 3.5t single-car trailers. This role involves the safe collection, delivery, and appraisal of new and used vehicles from across the UK, primarily for end users and home deliveries. Drivers will use industry tools such as MoDel and a bespoke in-house appraisal app.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of a 7.2-ton vehicle and trailer for vehicle transport.
- Accurate appraisal of vehicles prior to loading and delivery.
- Use of in-house systems for electronic inspections and customer sign-off.
- Providing outstanding customer service during all handovers.
- Ensuring vehicle condition reports and delivery documentation are complete and accurate.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with C1E entitlement (required to tow the trailer).
- Digital tachograph card and CPC qualification (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).
- Previous experience in a similar transport or delivery role.
- Good IT literacy comfortable using multiple apps and devices.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate night stays (average 2-3 nights per week) and occasional weekend work.
- Smart, punctual, and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
