Recovery Driver – Chessington
£15 per hour | Vehicle taken home | Start immediately | Weekly pay
F1 Personnel are an agency working with a well‑established and highly respected local company providing roadside assistance, vehicle recovery and repair services in Chessington.
Why This Role?
Helping people in a time of need by attending broken‑down vehicles on the roadside. Providing basic repairs such as wheel changes, jump starts, or transporting vehicles that cannot be repaired to the depot, local garage or the customer’s home address.
Pay & Benefits
- Basic pay: £15 per hour
- Overtime available
- Vehicle workshop bonus
- OTE pay per year: £43,600
Truck
Can take truck home whilst on shift so minimal travel to work costs.
Temp‑to‑Perm Opportunity
This is a temporary role with the potential for contract extension or a permanent job offer depending on business need.
Shifts
- Week 1: 06:00–18:00
- Week 2: 08:00–20:00
- Week 3: 10:00–22:00
- Week 4: 18:00–06:00
Average hours per week: 56. Will include weekend and Bank Holiday working as part of the roster.
Training
Full recovery training provided.
Driving Requirements
- Minimum 7.5T (LGV C1)
- Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements, no DD, DR, IN, CD
- Hold current Driver Qualification Card (DCPC) & Tacho Card
Personal Attributes
- Previous 7.5T driving experience
- Reliable, flexible, and customer‑focused
- Able to work on own initiative and in all weathers
- Professional and safe driving record
Vetting
- Identity and right to work
- DBS criminal records
- Referencing for 2 years
