Location: LA2, Ellel, Lancashire
Pay: £39.22 per hour (includes holiday pay, pension, CPD). Contract: Part‑time, temporary.
We are recruiting for Study Skills Tutors (SpLD) based in and around Lancaster. Tutors should provide a hybrid approach, offering both online and in‑person support.
Responsibilities
- Academic reading and comprehension strategies
- Time management – managing workloads and deadlines
- Breaking down and understanding assignment briefs
- Structuring assignments, including referencing skills
- Spelling, grammar and proof‑reading systems
- Note‑taking and processing information – supporting students to choose best approaches
- Exam and revision techniques
Qualifications
It is essential that you hold a relevant professional body membership (full or associate level) from either PATOSS, BDA, PASSHE or Dyslexia Guild.
