Overview
Specialist Mentor (ASC) – Commercial Services Ltd. Location: HP11, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP10. Pay: £39.22/hour (includes holiday pay, pension, CPD). Contract: Part time. We are a Non‑Medical Helper (NMH) Provider that specialises in supporting students with disabilities including SpLDs, neurodiversity, and mental health conditions. We partner with higher‑education institutions across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Understand university expectations and the 'hidden rules' of university culture.
- Support students in building weekly routines and habits that feel manageable.
- Help students communicate with academics and peers, managing communication styles.
- Assist with managing overwhelm and sensory overload.
- Guide students through university systems and adjustments.
- Support students in managing stress and anxiety.
Experience and Qualifications
You should understand neurodiversity and mental health conditions and how they impact a student’s studies. It is essential that you hold a degree and training in autism, such as the National Autistic Society (NAS) modules.

- Competitive hourly rate: £35 per hour + £4.22 holiday pay (£39.22 per hour rolled up).
