Landscape Services are seeking an experienced Regional Contracts Manager to manage their contracts in Thanet, Canterbury, Folkestone, Maidstone and Ashford., * Organising and overseeing the daily and weekly scheduling and management of the operational teams’ workload, ensuring specific routes and rounds are followed

Attending, arranging and hosting customer and site meetings, which may include the pricing and supply of quotations for ad-hoc works

The regular use and updating of our various systems, including a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, Asset Management tool (Itemit), Works Management system (Comms360) and a variety of shared forms and data through Excel or similar

Leading and development of the operational staff, including productivity and morale, wellbeing and general performance management – including disciplinary and performance reviews – to ensure delivery against agreed KPIs. Arranging training and development opportunities, and conducting regular team meetings and 121s, ensuring site monitoring information is used as a tool to make positive change and improvement

Planning, organising and supervising all equipment, staff and materials to avoid wastage and ensure compliance with required standards. Ensuring chemical usage complies with current legislation
The successful candidate will have proven experience of managing high-value grounds maintenance contracts and be able to utilise their skills to support operationally when required. Landscape Services have contracts with schools, parishes, roundabouts, highways, waste sites, as the Regional Contracts Manager, with support from the Assistant Contracts Manager, you will instruct and organise staff through proactive planning of routes and rounds, whilst ensuring resource, material and contract requirements are met.
A clear and demonstrable knowledge of health and safety, risk assessment and safe working practices is essential for this role.
A current, clean driving licence and full DBS check (provided by the Company) is required., * 5 years industry experience

Prior experience managing high-value grounds maintenance projects

Clean Full UK Driving Licence

Knowledge of all aspects of grounds maintenance and soft landscaping

Ability to interpret specifications, plans, quotations and customer requests

Strong leadership and communication skills

Strong scheduling and logistics skills

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
