  • What you’ll be doing
  • Supporting energy trading activity across power and gas markets to ensure accurate execution and reporting
  • Analyzing large data sets to provide insights that support trading and procurement decisions
  • Validating trades, reconciliations and pricing to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Working closely with internal teams and suppliers to align data and portfolio positions
  • Preparing reports and market updates to support decision making
  • Maintaining procurement schedules and supporting contract performance
  • Developing tools and solutions to improve data visualisation and reporting
  • Monitoring market trends and regulatory changes to support informed trading decisions
  • Supporting the development of new products and services within the energy offering

You will be a trusted and valued contributor within the Energy & Carbon team, playing a key role in supporting trading activity, data analysis and market insight.

Qualifications and skills

  • Proven experience working with data analysis, trading environments or similar analytical roles
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft tools such as Power BI or similar
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • A proactive and solutions‑focused approach
  • An interest in energy markets or trading environments
  • Minimum A-level education or equivalent
