What you’ll be doing
- Supporting energy trading activity across power and gas markets to ensure accurate execution and reporting
- Analyzing large data sets to provide insights that support trading and procurement decisions
- Validating trades, reconciliations and pricing to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Working closely with internal teams and suppliers to align data and portfolio positions
- Preparing reports and market updates to support decision making
- Maintaining procurement schedules and supporting contract performance
- Developing tools and solutions to improve data visualisation and reporting
- Monitoring market trends and regulatory changes to support informed trading decisions
- Supporting the development of new products and services within the energy offering

Qualifications and skills
- Proven experience working with data analysis, trading environments or similar analytical roles
- Strong Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft tools such as Power BI or similar
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- A proactive and solutions‑focused approach
- An interest in energy markets or trading environments
- Minimum A-level education or equivalent
