As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Water Treatment Engineer to join our friendly, proactive team.
As a
Water Hygiene Technician , you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality water treatment and hygiene programmes for a wide range of customers.
You’ll represent the business professionally, liaise with clients, and ensure all work meets regulatory, legislative, and best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out water treatment and hygiene works safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
- Work closely with clients and colleagues to share progress and updates.
• Conduct a variety of water hygiene and treatment tasks, including
- Plant and equipment installations
- Chlorinations/Disinfections
- Chemical Dosing System Inspections
Complete accurate electronic reports and submit promptly.
Ensure all work adheres to relevant legislation, policies, and PPE requirements.
Maintain company vehicle condition and complete regular safety checks.
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.
We’d love to hear from you if you have
- 2 or more years experience in the water treatment industry.
- Good working knowledge of ACo P L8, HSG274, HTM04:01, DWI Private Water Systems, Water Regulations, and relevant British Standards.
- The ability to safely undertake the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling, lifting materials and equipment, climbing ladders, and accessing tanks and confined spaces.
- Confidence using electronic reporting systems.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive, positive attitude with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- A full, clean driving license and the ability to travel in a timely and safe manner to sites across our geography.
