CDAS is expanding its network of specialist auditors to support a growing portfolio of work across the commercial diving, maritime, and defence sectors. This is not a general HSE advisory role. We are seeking qualified ISO Lead Auditors with genuine operational background in high-risk environments—particularly commercial diving, marine operations, or defence-related activities. Successful candidates will support the delivery of independent audit and assurance services, aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, across complex and safety-critical operations.

The Role

  • Delivery of structured management system audits (ISO 9001 / ISO 45001)
  • First‑line assurance of Diving Project Plans and supporting documentation
  • Technical and operational compliance reviews within commercial diving environments
  • Contribution to high‑level audit reports, findings, and system improvement recommendations
  • Engagement with contractors, duty holders, and senior stakeholders

Background and Qualifications

  • Proven background in commercial diving, maritime, or defence operations
  • Strong understanding of the Diving at Work Regulations 1997 and associated ACOP
  • Ability to operate independently with professional judgement and authority
  • Experience working with Commercial and defence‑aligned contractors
  • Familiarity with IMCA guidance ACoP DWR 1997 L104/L103 and industry good practice
  • Experience in audit, assurance, or compliance roles within high‑risk sectors
