Location: Hedge End, Southampton (Office based)
Salary: £45,500 - £49,500 (£27,500 basic salary per year plus approximately £18,000-£22,000 in commission depending on personal and company performance)
Commercial Components Ltd are seeking an experienced Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join our busy Head Office in Hedge End. If you bring solid technical expertise, an ability to develop lasting customer relationships, and the drive to help grow sales and maximise opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and keeping workshops and fleets moving. Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying customer parts requirements via telephone, email, and counter enquiries
- Using computer databases, catalogues, and online catalogues to source the correct components
- Providing accurate information, technical guidance, and exceptional customer service
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Working collaboratively with our internal teams to ensure smooth ordering and delivery processes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in commercial vehicle parts is essential
- Confident using electronic catalogues and parts lookup systems
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
- Ability to work efficiently, manage enquiries, and prioritise workload
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive, team‑driven environment
