About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing team, focused on securing and developing commercial coating and refurbishment projects across the UK. This is a client-facing role with a strong emphasis on building relationships, identifying opportunities and managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion. While there is an outbound element, the role is far more than just cold outreach; you’ll be meeting clients on site, attending networking events and working closely with the delivery team to convert opportunities into live projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generating new business opportunities through targeted outreach and industry engagement
- Managing your own pipeline from first conversation through to project handover
- Attending site visits and conducting surveys to understand project requirements
- Preparing elements of estimates and working alongside the commercial team
- Building relationships with clients at all levels, from site managers through to directors
- Representing the business at networking events and industry meetings
- Identifying opportunities across existing and new client portfolios
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role within the construction or built environment sector
- Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to spot and develop opportunities
- Experience generating your own leads and building a pipeline from scratch
- Confident working both in the office and out on site
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
