Commenciz Ltd is a growing staffing solutions provider, specializing in healthcare and administrative support services across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team and manage the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Role Overview:
As an Accountant at Commenciz Ltd, you will handle the company’s day-to-day financial tasks, maintain accurate records, and support management with financial insights and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and manage bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare VAT returns and support tax filings.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Liaise with external accountants, clients, and suppliers as needed.
- Provide financial data and analysis to support business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
- AAT qualification or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA preferred (but not essential).
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
