About Your New Role

CommandLink, a rapidly growing company, is actively seeking a Vendor & Pricing Lead to join our dynamic team. As a part of the Vendor Management Team, The Vendor Management Lead oversees CommandLink’s global vendor relationships, ensuring optimised pricing, performance, and alignment with company goals. This role manages vendor data, negotiates contracts, leads international quoting, and drives process improvements while expanding our global vendor network and building a high‑performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing team, driving collaboration, accountability and operational excellence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate vendor information, pricing, and product offerings within CommandLink’s systems and proprietary quoting tools.
  • Lead and oversee the negotiation and review of Master Service Agreements (MSAs), ensuring the team secures favourable commercial terms including pricing, payment schedules, service levels, and dispute resolution.
  • Direct and govern the maintenance of vendor data within the CommandLink platform, ensuring the team keeps vendor lists, rate cards, and contact information accurate and up to date.
  • Lead and manage the international quote process, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and adherence to established timelines.
  • Research, evaluate, and engage potential new vendors with a focus on international; oversee onboarding to align with CommandLink’s strategic mission and operational standards.
  • Act as a primary escalation point for internal teams on vendor‑related issues, fostering strong communication and resolution frameworks.
  • Establish and maintain regular business review cycles and relationship‑building programs with key vendors.
  • Own the vendor renewal strategy and execution, directing a team responsible for sales collaboration, vendor negotiations, renewal order processing, deal modelling, and margin performance analysis.
  • Expand and manage vendor relationships outside the United States, supporting global growth initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain KPI reporting to track vendor performance, internal operational metrics, and process efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members within the vendor management function.
  • Takes on additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support the success of the team and organisation.

What You'll Need For Success

  • 7-10 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or carrier relations.
  • 5-7 years of experience managing a team.
  • Must have experience with international telecom vendors.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, complex formulas, pivot tables, and reporting dashboards.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities across technical and business teams.
  • Experience managing vendor data and pricing systems or quoting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and build positive relationships.
  • Self‑motivated with strong research and problem‑solving skills.
  • Highly organised with acute attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, global environment.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate high‑level goals into actionable team plans.

The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region.
