Are you an MOT Tester looking for a backshift role where you can concentrate on carrying out quality MOT inspections rather than spending your day dealing with heavily worn vehicles? We're recruiting for a busy, modern workshop in Peterborough where you'll be testing vehicles that are generally under five years old. Every vehicle is inspected and prepared by the workshop before it reaches you, meaning the majority of faults have already been identified and rectified, allowing you to focus on what you do best. This is a clean, purpose-built workshop with the latest equipment and technology, offering a supportive team, an organised working environment and an excellent work-life balance.
The Role
- Carry out MOT inspections in line with DVSA standards
- Ensure all vehicles are tested accurately and efficiently
- Work closely with the workshop team to maintain high-quality standards
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Deliver excellent levels of professionalism and attention to detail
What We're Looking For
- Current or lapsed MOT Tester licence (renewal training available if required)
- Mechanical background with a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop
- Excellent attention to detail
