As an HGV Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring maximum reliability and safety for customers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently and accurately.
- Repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
- Completing all service documentation and job cards accurately.
- Working in line with manufacturer procedures and warranty standards.
- Maintaining excellent workshop housekeeping and health & safety standards.
- Keeping up to date with the latest vehicle technology through ongoing manufacturer training.
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge of commercial vehicles.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous, with training available if required).
- Right to work in the UK.
