We're recruiting on behalf of a successful, well-established main dealership in Romford for an experienced Assistant Sales Manager. The Role
- Working closely with the Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in driving department performance, coaching the sales team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience from enquiry through to handover.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management of a busy vehicle sales department
- Lead, motivate and coach a team of Sales Executives to maximise performance
- Drive vehicle, finance and insurance sales while maintaining excellent profitability
- Ensure FCA, manufacturer and dealership standards are consistently met
- Assist with deal structuring, stock management and finance proposals
- Handle customer escalations professionally to achieve excellent CSI scores
- Help maintain a professional showroom environment and high operational standards
About You
- You’ll already have experience within a franchised main dealership and be looking to further your management career.
- Ideally you’ll have experience as a:
- Assistant Sales Manager
- Sales Controller
- Transaction Manager
- Business Manager
- You will also have:
- A proven track record of delivering strong sales results
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills
