We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a therapeutic children's residential home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, compliance, and staff performance. You will create a stable, trauma-informed environment that supports children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the home through Ofsted registration and maintain compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
  • Manage and develop staff, including recruitment, supervision, rotas, and performance management.
  • Deliver high-quality, child-centred and trauma-informed care.
  • Take lead responsibility for safeguarding, risk management, and incident response.
  • Oversee care planning, admissions, placement stability, and positive outcomes for children.
  • Build strong relationships with social workers, families, schools, and external professionals.
  • Manage budgets, staffing costs, and operational performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement to achieve and maintain a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in children's residential care and leadership/management.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, and Children's Homes Regulations.
