MOT TesterUp to £38,000 DOE + Overtime45 Hours | Monday-Friday | 07:00-17:00Portbury, Bristol | Brand-New Vehicle Preparation CentreBe one of the first to join something newA major new vehicle preparation centre is coming to Portbury, and we're looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join the team from the start.
You'll be working in a brand-new, state-of-the-art preparation centre, with modern workshop technology, excellent facilities and a professional working environment. What we offerUp to £38,000 basic salary DOEOvertime availableMonday-Friday working patternBrand-new, state-of-the-art facilitiesLatest workshop technology and equipmentClear progression and training opportunitiesSupportive, people-first environment23 days' holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 25 days with serviceCompany pensionStaff discounts on vehicle purchases, EV chargers and servicingRecognition programmesBike to Work schemeThe RoleAs an MOT Tester, you'll carry out Class 4 and Class 7 MOT tests, ensuring vehicles meet DVSA standards and are safe and roadworthy.
You'll also: Accurately assess vehicle roadworthiness and identify defectsComplete MOT documentation and digital recordsWork closely with technicians to ensure failed vehicles are repaired and retested promptlyCarry out vehicle health checks where requiredIdentify additional repair requirementsEnsure MOT testing equipment is maintained and calibratedMaintain a clean, safe and organised working environmentFollow all DVSA, company and health & safety requirementsSupport the wider workshop and preparation teamsAbout YouYou'll need: A current and valid DVSA MOT Tester qualificationPrevious MOT testing experienceGood mechanical knowledge and understanding of modern vehiclesExcellent attention to detailA strong commitment to safety and complianceThe ability to work efficiently in a busy environmentGood communication and teamwork skillsA full UK driving licenceGet in early.
