Overview Dealership AccountantAshford, Kent Motor Trade Leadership Role Outstanding PackageBasic Salary: 45,000 – 50,000Bonus: 3,000 – 4,000 per annum (paid quarterly)Company Car: Brand new company car every 6 monthsThe Role As Dealership Accountant, you will take full ownership of the dealership\’s accounting function, leading the Accounts Department and delivering accurate, timely financial information to support commercial decision-making.Working closely with senior management and Heads of Business, you will play a key role in forecasting, financial control, and continuous improvement across the business.Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop the Accounts Department teamProduce monthly management accounts in line with group deadlinesPrepare weekly cash flow, stock, and cost forecastsOversee purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliationsEnsure accurate stock valuations and work-in-progress reportingSupport cost control and budget performance across departmentsAct as a trusted financial partner to senior managementAbout You Car dealership experience is essentialProven experience as a Dealership Accountant or in a senior dealership accounts roleExperience using Kerridge or Pinnacle/Pinewood is highly desirableStrong knowledge of motor trade accounting processesConfident producing management accounts and forecastsExperienced people manager with a hands-on, commercial approachHighly organised with excellent attention to detailThe Package 45,000 – 50,000 basic salary (DOE)Quarterly bonus of 3,000 – 4,000 per annumBrand new company car every 6 monthsStable, reputable dealer groupSenior role with visibility and influenceLong-term career progressionWhy Apply Through Command Recruitment?
