The Role
As an MET Technician, you will be a key part of a professional bodyshop team, delivering right-first-time repairs to the highest safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, record, and report additional damage during vehicle strip-down
- Accurately log all parts, materials, consumables, and labour used on each repair
- Minimise waste and ensure correct ordering of replacement parts
- Carry out repairs in line with best practice and manufacturer procedures
- Complete work within estimated repair times while meeting quality and safety standards
- Check and maintain tools, equipment, and workshop materials
- Seek clarification where job instructions are unclear or appear incorrect
- Support the Bodyshop Manager with additional tasks as required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an MET Technician within an accident repair centre
- Relevant NVQ / ATA / IMI / SVQ qualifications preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
