Pest Control Service Technician Bury St Edmunds & Surrounding Areas

Command Pest Control is growing, and we're looking for a motivated and reliable Pest Control Service Technician to join our team. Whether you're an experienced pest control professional looking for your next opportunity, or you're looking to start a career in the pest control industry, we'd love to hear from you. For the right person, we'll provide full training, recognised qualifications and ongoing support to help you build your skills and develop a successful career in pest control. This role offers a starting salary of £27,000 for Trainee or Level 1 Technician, raising to £29,000 for Level 2 Qualified Technician. This also comes with opportunity to earn bonus payments via recommended works that are accepted, and opportunities to deliver overtime works as needed at enhanced rates of pay.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out pest inspections and treatments.
• Managing your own daily schedule and service area.
• Building strong relationships with customers.
• Providing preventative advice and recommendations.
• Completing accurate service reports.
• Delivering excellent customer service on every visit.
• Working independently while being supported by an experienced team.
• Learning and developing your technical pest control knowledge and skills.

What We're Looking For

We're open to applications from both experienced pest technicians and people looking to get into the industry. For experienced technicians, you'll ideally have previous pest control experience and relevant qualifications. If you're new to pest control, that's not a problem - full training will be provided, and we'll support you through the relevant industry qualifications. We're looking for someone who is:

• Positive, reliable and willing to learn.
• A full UK driving licence holder.
• Confident communicating with customers.
• Organised, self-motivated and able to manage their own workload.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
• Practical and hands-on in their approach.
• Interested in developing a long-term career in pest control.
