At CoMind, we are developing a non-invasive neuromonitoring technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world.

CoMind is building deep-tech medical technology against demanding timelines, and we're looking for an Operations Lead to own how the company delivers and how it runs day to day. This is a senior role reporting to the GM, focused on making sure the business delivers what it has committed to, on time and done well, and on building the operational backbone a fast-growing company needs.

You'll keep work moving across every team, own the company's operating rhythm and its key initiatives, and take on the enabling functions that keep the business running and protected. It's a role for someone at their best building process, systems and structure, and being judged on whether it all delivers.

You'll join at a pivotal stage for the company, with real ownership over how it runs and the mandate to make delivery relentless. If you're at your best when you're close to the action, deep in the detail, and getting things over the line, we'd love to talk.

At CoMind, all team members work at least 4 days per week in the office, plus a flexible work-from-home day. This role is based in our London (Kings Cross) office.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep work moving across teams, so delivery doesn't drift. Create clear plans, clear owners, visible progress, and raise blockers early.
  • Own the company's operating rhythm: Company objectives, KPIs and risk review cadence.
  • Take company-wide initiatives and land them, from plan to live to keeping them running.
  • Own the enabling functions that keep the business running and protected as it scales.
  • Bring structure including scoping new needs and coming back with a clear recommendation.
  • Unblock delivery: know when to lean on the right person, and when a team is simply short on resource, then solve for it.
  • Hold directors and team leads to account on delivery, and drive the cross-team blockers no one else owns to a resolution.

AI is fundamental to our culture - it's not just a tool, but a core part of how we work, collaborate, and innovate. We expect all team members to embrace AI in their daily work and continuously find new ways to use it effectively.

Skills & Experience:

  • Established management experience running operations, ideally somewhere complex, technical and deadline-driven. Startup experience is a must, and you've seen a company scale.
  • Experience working across job families, not just inside ops.
  • A track record of decisions that worked, with the results to show it. You can point to an ambiguous situation you walked into, organised and fixed.
  • You get things done. People hand you a job and a date, and it comes back finished, not narrated.
  • You are motivated by organising noise - introducing process, tools and systems where none exist.
  • The credibility to hold senior people to account, done firmly and fairly, with sound business judgment and discretion.

Benefits:

  • Company equity plan so all employees share in the success of the company.
  • Salary-sacrifice pension scheme.
  • Private medical, dental and vision insurance (medical history disregarded).
  • Group life assurance at 4x annual income.
  • Comprehensive mental health support, including unlimited access to 1:1 sessions with trained professionals.
  • Unlimited holiday allowance (+ bank holidays) and one week of remote working per quarter.
  • Lunch voucher (£10) every day for JustEat and free dinner on those days where you need to work later.
  • Twice weekly deliveries of fresh fruit and an extensive selection of snacks and drinks.
  • YuLife subscription, allowing you to turn your daily steps and meditation into discounts at a range of stores.
