At CoMind, we are developing a non‑invasive neuromonitoring technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting‑edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world.

The IT team provides the infrastructure, security, and systems that enable CoMind to operate at pace. It’s a high‑ownership environment where you’ll have real influence over how a scaling company builds and secures its technology foundations. Reporting to our Head of IT, the IT Operations Engineer will own the day‑to‑day delivery and continuous improvement of CoMind’s IT services. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced startup environment. At CoMind, all team members work at least 4 days per week from our new King’s Cross offices, plus a flexible work‑from‑home day.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality end‑user support across the organisation, acting as the primary point of contact for IT queries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Own employee onboarding and off‑boarding processes, including device provisioning, account setup, and access management across Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and other business applications (e.g. Atlassian).
  • Administer and maintain core infrastructure including network equipment (FortiGate firewalls, FortiSwitch, wireless access points), on‑premise servers, and cloud services.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact the business.
  • Support the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Manage and maintain endpoint devices through MDM platforms, ensuring devices are secure, up to date, and compliant.
  • Contribute to ITSM process improvements, helping to formalise service request handling, incident management, and change management workflows.

AI is fundamental to our culture — it’s not just a tool, but a core part of how we work, collaborate, and innovate. We expect all team members to embrace AI in their daily work and continuously find new ways to use it effectively.
