About the Company - At CoMind, we are developing a non-invasive neuromonitoring technology that will result in a new era of clinical brain monitoring. In joining us, you will be helping to create cutting-edge technologies that will improve how we diagnose and treat brain disorders, ultimately improving and saving the lives of patients across the world.
About the Role - The role involves overseeing various aspects of IT infrastructure and management, ensuring efficient operations and support for both internal and external systems. This role is based onsite 5 days per week in our London offices (Farringdon).
Responsibilities:
- Network infrastructure: oversight of infrastructure and manage internal/external support
- Internal Compute and Storage: Management, monitoring and resiliency of on-prem servers and storage.
- PC Purchase, Build and Maintenance: Handles lifecycle management of desktop, laptop and scientific compute hardware β from procurement and configuration to troubleshooting and repair.
- Business Systems: Management of internal hosted and owned systems
- Cloud: Management of cloud infrastructure and services on AWS and GCP. Optimization of cloud spend and monitoring of resource usage for efficiency and budgeting.
- Managed Systems: Oversight of SaaS tools and platforms, e.g. admin, licensing and staff onboarding/offboarding (e.g. Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Bitbucket, Bitwarden)
Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience leading IT in small, deeply technical companies
- Vendor and license management: procurement, renewals, tracking usage
- Experience in implementing Infrastructure-As-A-Service cloud hosting solutions and vendor management.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment
- Documentation: creating and maintaining internal IT documentation and SOPs
- Ability to support and communicate with technical and non-technical staff clearly and patiently
- Scripting for automation (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) for cloud resource management
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices for endpoints and SaaS environments
