The predicted salary is between 38590 - 42603 Β£ per year.
A Team Leader (Maintenance) is required to be the main point of contact between the Property Management Section and the Property Maintenance Delivery Section for the delivery of building related maintenance and minor improvement works. To input to the scoping and specification of maintenance and minor works, and delivering through to completion. This will include the effective management of physical and material resources in terms of efficiency, productivity and in all cases within safe systems of work.
You must have an extensive knowledge of building construction repairs and maintenance issues, an understanding of the current Building Standards, and an all round knowledge of Health and Safety practices relevant to the Building Industry. You must also have a basic knowledge of Statutory requirements in relation to buildings. You will be at least a time served tradesman, preferably with membership of the Institute of Clerk of Works and have at least 5 years experience in a multi-disciplined construction office, preferably at P.M.O. building level. It is essential that you hold a current full UK driving licence.
The salary quoted is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
