A Senior Administrator is required for system administration of the electronic case management systems used by the Health and Social Care Department, including Eclipse and the Blue Badge system. Working as part of a team, they will provide support to system users across Adult Social Work, Assessment and Care Management, Care and Home, Telecare, and Reablement.
An essential part of this role will be to manage the clerical assistants and ensure the provision of a high level of clerical support to the department through the development of staff and the establishment, management, and maintenance of office systems and procedures, including data systems.
This role will provide technical support in order to maintain the integrity and administration of the system and to assist in the maintenance/data cleansing of Eclipse. You must have substantial experience in an administrative role within a team-based environment and have working knowledge of systems administration including systems maintenance and systems reporting.
It is essential that you have strong staff supervision skills and knowledge of services within Health & Social Care. You will have experience of maintaining online client record systems and proven organisational and planning skills. You will have the ability to work independently and use your own initiative as well as prioritise work and work to tight deadlines.
This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure. Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
