Relief ASN Escorts, Lewis & Harris
£15.67 per hour, inclusive of £1.55 Distant Islands Allowance per hour.
Required to provide relief cover for permanent members of staff on an as and when basis. You will undertake passenger assistant duties; attending to the comfort, security and safety of passengers being transported to and from appropriate establishments.
You must have an understanding of the needs of various client groups and an awareness of the rights of the individual. You must have the ability to:
- read and understand timetables;
- listen effectively and communicate clearly;
- work in a team and relate effectively;
- assess and react appropriately in an emergency;
- report changes in client’s circumstances to Line Manager.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme as a legal requirement of a regulated role with Children.
