ADVERT Purchase to Pay Assistant 25 hours per week, fixed term for 12 months £20,013 - £20,208 per annum ( inclusive of £2,025 Distant Islands Allowance ) Working as part of the Purchase to Pay team, you will support the efficient and effective processing of the Comhairle's purchasing and creditor payment functions.
The successful candidate will assist with the placing of purchase orders, goods receipting, processing supplier invoices and creditor payments, ensuring that transactions are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
You will also provide support in dealing with supplier and colleague enquiries, maintaining financial records, processing payment files and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
You should have an understanding of office systems and be able to use Microsoft Office applications effectively.
You must have strong numerical skills, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
You should be able to work efficiently as part of a team while building positive working relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
Appointment to the post is fixed term for 12 months.
