Overview
External Funding Assistant, Outer Hebrides — 37 hours per week, fixed-term position of two years. Salary £29,311 - £29,600 per annum, including £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance per annum.
Responsibilities
- Provide flexible, efficient and comprehensive administrative support to the Comhairle's externally funded projects, with a particular focus on the delivery of the Islands Growth Deal and Community Regeneration Partnership.
- Utilise a wide range of MS Office applications; maintain electronic files and spreadsheets; support day-to-day office procedures.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and accurate administration.
Qualifications and experience
- Good knowledge of office procedures and computerised systems; ability to use a wide range of MS Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written skills; strong numerical skills; experience in creating and maintaining spreadsheets and electronic files.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- National 5 or equivalent qualification in Maths and English; previous clerical experience.
