A Clerical Assistant is sought to provide flexible, efficient and comprehensive administrative support to all services within the Partnership Services business unit. They will additionally ensure that fundamental frontline support services and business support for defined officers are provided during office hours.
The post holder will be required to be knowledgeable on Data Protection guidelines relevant to the team’s processes and procedures and will be required to undertake quality assurance checks to ensure that the data held on electronic systems is accurate.
You must have proven experience of the following areas while working in a busy office environment:
- Dealing with phone enquiries from members of the public and colleagues in Health and Social Care
- Invoicing and Purchase Orders
- Minute Taking and Spreadsheet Tracking
It is essential that you have a SVQ Level 2 / HNC in Business Administration or equivalent level of qualification. Proficient keyboard skills, good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for the post. It is essential that you have knowledge of office procedures and knowledge of records management.
This position is subject to completion of a Basic Disclosure by Disclosure Scotland. Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Hours are on an as and when basis.
