The predicted salary is between 17460 - 17460 £ per year.

25 hours per week, term time, permanent post

£17,292 to £17,460 per annum, inclusive of £1,750 Distant Islands Allowance

Required for 25 hours per week, term time, you will provide a support role to the teaching and non-teaching staff of the school, the Head Teacher and interface with the Education & Children’s Services Department.

Duties will include:

  • supervision of pupils and undertaking school crossing patrol;
  • carrying out regular checks on the environmental and fabric of the whole school campus and reporting defects to Property Maintenance Delivery (PMD);
  • reporting any Health and Safety related events to the Head Teacher and ensuring that incident forms are completed and submitted;
  • undertaking messenger and internal delivery duties as required.

You must have a good working knowledge of the highway code and basic road safety and basic health and safety. You must have previous experience of health and safety issues in relation to general workplace activity with knowledge of the reporting requirements under RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases, And Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995). It is essential you have the ability to supervise pupils and have excellent communication skills.

This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme as a legal requirement of a regulated role with Children.
