School Assistant, Lionel School (0377)
14 hours per week, Monday and Friday, term time, permanent post
£9,209 - £9,297 per annum, inclusive of £935 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
The post holder will be required to provide clerical, classroom, and general support to the school under the direction of the Headteacher and undertake pupil welfare and supervision duties under the Headteacher\'s guidance.
You will have proven experience in a busy office environment and working with young children. You must have good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to produce letters, memos, documents, and reports, as well as create and maintain spreadsheets. Excellent communication skills with children and adults, along with strong oral, numeracy, and writing skills, are essential.
This position is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, a legal requirement for roles working with children (mygov.scot).
The salary includes the Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment will be at the first point of the grade.
