Overview

Relief Domestic Assistants, Trianaid & TACUN

£15.19 per hour, inclusive of £1.55 per hour Distant Islands Allowance

Both Trianaid and TACUN Care Homes require staff to cover periods of annual leave and sickness absence. You will provide domestic assistance in the care home, with particular responsibility for the overall cleanliness of the care home, to the standard necessary for the health and safety of service users.

This post is on an as and when basis to cover absences of permanent staff. Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults. This role requires the wearing and use of PPE. This post is on an as and when basis to cover absences of permanent staff.

Requirements

You should have experience of cleaning, preferably to a schedule or in a work setting and an understanding of the rights of older people and adults with additional support needs. It is vital you read the job description and person specification, and in your experience statement please detail how you meet each of the essential criteria in the person specification. Interviews will be conducted in person, providing candidates with the chance to meet the team and experience our work environment.
