37 hours per week, Permanent Position

£30,758 to £31,935 per annum (inclusive of £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance per annum)

Responsibilities include:

  • Operation of process control equipment.
  • Operation of static or mobile plant.
  • Operation of mechanical and electrical systems on site, including data input into a computerised system.
  • Operation of site weighbridge.
  • Operation and maintenance of Household Waste Recycling Centre.
  • Various driving duties.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Experience operating heavy plant, machinery or process equipment.
  • CITB Certificates desirable.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, cooperatively with staff and customers, and an adaptable approach to work.
  • Clean, full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable).

Salary inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance, appointment on first point of grade.
