The predicted salary is between 15 - 15 £ per hour.

£15.35 per hour (inclusive of £1.55 Distant Islands Allowance per hour). Museum & Tasglann nan Eilean, an exciting and busy heritage attraction, is looking for individuals with exceptional customer service skills. Our Visitor Assistants meet, greet and engage with visitors, ensuring they receive a warm, friendly welcome and the highest level of customer service. As the public face of the Museum, they develop a good level of knowledge of our exhibitions in order to help visitors learn more about the culture and heritage of the Outer Hebrides. Visitor Assistants are also responsible for the security of the collections on display and providing a safe environment for visitors.

Successful candidates will have a clear understanding of the importance of the visitor experience and how it influences the public image of the Museum, as well as security and related health and safety issues. They should have a good general level of education, good verbal communication skills, a flexible approach to work, and the ability to work as part of a team. This post is on an 'as and when required' basis. Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.
