The predicted salary is between 10900 - 11000 £ per year.
17.5 hours per week, Term Time, Permanent
£11,978 - £12,096 per annum, inclusive of £1,225 Distant Islands Allowance per annum.
The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of the cleaning staff and carrying out cleaning duties at the school. Duties as a supervisor will include:
- Monitoring cleaning areas prior to, during and after daily cleaning to ensure standards of cleanliness are in keeping with Contract requirements.
- Arranging training for new or temporary employees.
- Monitoring timekeeping of cleaners.
Duties as a cleaner will include:
- Undertaking, as part of a team, the cleaning of designated areas within the school to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.
You should have an understanding of cleaning in a commercial/industrial environment. The ability to manage a small team of cleaners to achieve the set standards is essential along with the ability to undertake regular monitoring of team members' performance. You must have previous experience of stock take control, i.e. ordering, receiving and issuing of stock.
This post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme as a legal requirement of a regulated role with Children.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
