The predicted salary is between 20138 - 20138 £ per year.
14 hours per week, fixed term to June 2027
£15,151 - £20,138 per annum, inclusive of £1,199 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
The post holder will be required to provide quality music tuition to assigned pupils and contribute to the Instrumental Teaching Service, with regards to Drumming tuition, specifically in relation to pupils, parents, staff and schools.
Responsibilities- Provide music tuition to assigned pupils on an individual or group basis as appropriate
- Plan and prepare appropriate work for pupils
- Liaise with Headteachers and Music Staff to promote the instrumental skills of pupils
- Be involved in the organisation and operation of school concerts/performances on an agreed basis
- Sound practical and working knowledge of Drumming instruction
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, plus good oral, written and record keeping skills
- Current UK Driving Licence
- Relevant professional diploma or qualification in the subject
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme required as a legal requirement of a regulated role with Children
Salary quoted is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
