Salary: £30,847 - £33,712 per annum, inclusive of £2,835 Distant Islands Allowance per annum.
A Cook in charge will be responsible for planning, preparing and arranging the serving of meals to users, taking into account choice, best value and food hygiene.
Requirements:
- Understanding of the rights of others.
- Knowledge and understanding of the CookSafe food safety management system.
- Ability to work as part of a team, organized and thorough.
- Current Food Hygiene Qualification or Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate with a commitment to achieving the Intermediate qualification.
- Wearing and use of PPE.
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for regulated work with children and adults.
