The predicted salary is between 36430 - 39362 £ per year.

37 hours per week, worked over 4 days - permanent post

£36,430 - 39,362 per annum (inclusive of £2,997 Distant Islands Allowance)

You will engage in all aspects of mechanical repair, maintenance and associated works of the Comhairle's Garage Services including but not limited to cars, vans, minibuses, HGV's, PCV's, mobile plant etc.

You must have a Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence or equivalent along with previous experience of working with a wide variety of vehicles.

You must have the ability to work as part of a team to ensure that daily tasks are completed.

You will be required to participate as part of a scheduled standby rota for out of hours breakdown attendance.

It is essential that you hold a current Category D driving licence.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of the grade.
