Cleaner in Charge, Sgoil Lionacleit
Hours per week: Term Time, Permanent
Salary: £10,854 – £10,958 per annum, including £1,102 Distant Islands Allowance per annum
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise cleaning staff and carry out cleaning duties at the school.
- Monitor cleaning areas before, during, and after cleaning to ensure standards meet contract requirements.
- Arrange training for new or temporary employees.
- Monitor team members\’ performance and timekeeping.
- Undertake cleaning of designated areas within the school to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements
- Understanding of cleaning in a commercial/industrial environment.
- Ability to manage a small team to achieve set standards.
- Experience in stock control, ordering, receiving, and issuing stock.
This position is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, which is a legal requirement for roles working with children.
