This role is central to translating complex financial and operational business processes into effective IT and SAP-based solutions. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring systems are aligned with and enhance core business operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong business process knowledge, hands-on SAP experience across multiple modules, and the ability to lead end-to-end system implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications
- Document current (“as-is”) and future (“to-be”) business processes
- Lead end-to-end SAP implementation projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Develop system blueprints outlining design and configuration
- Build and validate prototypes with stakeholders
- Manage and execute data migration from legacy systems
- Plan, execute, and oversee testing activities, including unit testing and UAT
- Coordinate and support Go-Live activities, providing immediate post-implementation support
- Develop and deliver end-user training programmes
- Create user manuals and system documentation
- Monitor system performance post-implementation and identify opportunities for process optimisation and enhancement
RequirementsEssential skills & experience
- SAP Expertise: Strong hands-on experience across SAP modules including FICO, MM, and SD
- Business Analysis: Proven ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into IT solutions
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical, interpretation, and reporting skills
- System Integration: Experience integrating multiple business systems and applications
- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with modern cloud-based platforms and solutions
- Database Knowledge: Working knowledge of relational database management systems
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
