We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Manager to operate within the LCST contract, working in close partnership with the Senior Programme Manager to support delivery across a complex, multi‑functional environment. This full‑time, permanent role requires strong organisational skills, delivery discipline, and an ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment to defined objectives, contractual commitments, and organisational priorities.
- Support and maintain delivery governance, including controls across scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including internal resources, suppliers, and third‑party vendors, to support integrated delivery.
- Work with technical and non‑technical leads to ensure delivery consistency and manage dependencies.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, providing clear and consistent communication and supporting issue resolution where required.
- Define and manage project scope, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment and traceability throughout the lifecycle.
- Support resource planning and allocation, ensuring effective utilisation in line with delivery requirements.
- Manage change control processes, assessing impact on scope, schedule, cost and risk.
- Proactively manage risks and issues, ensuring they are identified, mitigated and tracked in line with governance standards.
- Deliver to agreed time, cost and quality baselines, supporting financial tracking and reporting (forecasting, EAC, variance).
- Support supplier and partner performance, ensuring alignment to delivery objectives and agreed outcomes.
- Produce and maintain project artefacts, including schedules, RAID logs, financial tracking and reporting packs.
- Escalate delivery challenges as required, supporting resolution while maintaining delivery momentum.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and the adoption of best practice across project management disciplines.
Skills Required
- Proven experience delivering projects, working to defined scope, schedule and financial targets.
- Experience in project management, with the ability to operate effectively at delivery level within a wider programme environment.
- Good understanding of delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and influence across internal and external teams.
- Experience working in multi‑functional environments, including customer, supplier and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of financial controls, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Ability to engage with both technical and non‑technical teams to support delivery outcomes.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on governance and delivery discipline.
- Professional, proactive approach with a strong sense of accountability.
- Competent in project management tools and Microsoft Office suite.
