Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and confident Comfort Specialist to join our field sales team across the North of England.
The Role
As a Comfort Specialist (Externally: Field Sales Consultant) you will be a trusted advisor delivering engaging, informative product demonstrations within retirement homes. This is a field-based, consultative sales role combining strong commercial focus with a genuinely customer-centric approach. You will present solutions that make a real difference to people’s daily lives, while achieving excellent sales performance.
Location: Huddersfield and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to retirement homes across the region to deliver pre-arranged product demonstrations.
- Set up and present a range of reclining chairs and adjustable beds, clearly explaining features, benefits, and suitability for individual needs.
- Deliver confident, professional, and empathetic presentations to both individuals and groups.
- Build trust with residents and decision-makers using a soft, consultative sales approach.
- Handle questions, objections, and negotiations with confidence and sensitivity.
- Convert demonstrations into sales, achieving agreed KPIs for conversion rate, sales value, and average order value.
- Accurately complete customer orders and ensure all information is recorded correctly.
- Work closely with Sales Assistants, Field Sales Managers, and office-based teams to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the company, consistently delivering exceptional customer care.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing sales role, ideally face-to-face or presentation-based.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with confidence engaging varied audiences.
- Skilled in negotiation and objection handling, with a calm and consultative style.
- Highly customer-focused, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism when working with older customers.
- Target-driven and commercially aware, able to balance sales performance with customer satisfaction.
- Well organised and self-motivated, comfortable managing a regional, field-based diary.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the North of England.

What We Offer:
- Basic salary of £30,000.
- Realistic OTE of £70,000–£80,000.
