Work with the management teams to support and engage with the business with a hands-on approach to effectively deal with all people matters in accordance with company policy and procedures. Maintaining and adopting best practice and regulatory compliance in line with the organisation goals and objectives.

Basic Job Duties
  • Day to day delivery of hands-on HR support and advice to the designated management teams to retain, reward and develop our staff.
  • Support management to assess staff related risks in the organisation and ensure that any employee relations matter are resolved in a timely manner, with minimal disruption and cost to the business.
  • Ensure management are maintaining daily, weekly and monthly deliverables relating to staff compliance through data reporting and analysis and supporting with action plans as required.
  • Engage with the management team to ensure that the organisation structure is fit for purpose and there is clear accountability and responsibility for all job roles.
  • Analyse performance reviews and support management to plan for organisational growth through succession planning and employee development.
Previous experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in working in a HR Officer, Advisor or Assistant role dealing with employee relations issues.
  • Experience in drafting HR documents, policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and company policies and procedures.
  • Experience working in hands-on HR role in a fast-paced environment.
Education
  • Must have a good standard of English and Maths at least GCSE level.
  • HR degree / CIPD qualification desirable but not essential.

  • Ability to analyse data.

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Influencing, coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Attention to detail, planning and organisational skills.

  • Confidence to engage with management and employees across the business.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and as a team player.
