About the role:

  • Support Assistants will provide kind, respectful and person‑centred support tailored to each individual's needs and wishes.
  • They will help people build confidence, develop daily living skills and take part in their community.
  • Promote dignity, choice, independence, wellbeing and safeguarding.
  • Work closely with the Manager and wider team to provide safe, consistent support.
  • Monitor wellbeing, keep clear and accurate records, and raise any concerns appropriately.
  • Support with medication, appointments, routines, household tasks and creating a welcoming home environment.
  • Encourage positive outcomes and help each person live a fuller, more independent life.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Must have at least one year of experience in care, ideally within supported living, learning disabilities or mental health services, or personal experience of caring for or supporting others.
  • A genuine passion for helping people live well.
