Job Summary:

The Caregiver provides clients various personal care in a retirement home or in the clients' home.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, nail/skin care, back care, foot care, shampoo, oral hygiene, ambulation, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices.
  • Provide companionship and respite services for family.
  • Light housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • PSW certified or equivalent (DSW, 2nd year Nursing student, International Nurse).
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile.
  • Live within a comfortable commuting distance of this position.
  • Part-time hours: possibly 25-30 per week or more.
