We are a well-established Widnes based company who are looking to recruit a proactive individual who can work under their own initiative, understand the importance of customer service, and can be flexible to meet the needs of our business.
You will be completing all tasks and duties over a national delivery area. This will include the overnight stays away from home as needed.
Tasks and duties will include:
- Carrying out routine vehicle checks
- Loading product onto the van
- Using a forklift and other equipment such as compactor
- Making sure that the load is correctly placed and secure.
- Driving vehicles to their destination
- Unloading product and installing into customer homes
- Demonstrating the product to the customers to enable use.
- Collecting payments and issuing receipts
- Maintaining a logbook with details of trips, including rest breaks on long trips
- Customer service
- Taking in deliveries to the warehouse as required
- Conducting repairs on existing customer products
To successfully secure this opportunity you must:
- Have a driving license.
- Be reliable, punctual, and self‑motivated.
- Have a great attitude and strong work ethic.
- Be capable and confident in your ability.
- Be flexible and willing to go the extra mile.
